tony the scribe is a Minneapolis-bred rapper, writer, and performance artist. tony’s work is colored by a sense of impending consequences—be they social decay or just a really bad hangover.  Raised in south Minneapolis, tony entered the Twin Cities’ vibrant independent rap scene while he was still in high school.

Marquita Stephens serves as the Director of Education Policy and Programming at the Minneapolis Urban League. She also served as the former executive of the African American Adoption Agency (13 years) and spent about 20 months in Community Engagement with the Roseville School district.

Jeffrey A. Hassan is a 1973 graduate of Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota and the University Of Minnesota Law School in 1976. Shortly thereafter, he began legal practice as a private attorney for the State of Minnesota Department of Human Rights. He practiced law in Washington, D.C.
