I grew up in rural Ohio listening to everything from classic rock and hair metal to Prince. In 1994 I began my radio career at 97X, one of the first alternative format radio stations in the country. I quickly became a friend of music snobs everywhere. As 97X/WOXY.com station was going out of business for the second time, I was lured to Minnesota Public Radio’s 89.3 The Current. While there, I established a deep bond with the local music community, my audience and many causes which are near and dear to my heart. In 2015 I lost that job and quickly took an offer with Go 96.3, where I continued to champion our local music community and attended a TON of baseball games! In the last year I have done a great deal of soul-searching, traveling and trying out different career paths. I knew I wanted to stay in Minnesota and I also knew I didn’t want to work in commercial radio. This station is the perfect fit for me; local, organic and passionate. I’m very happy to have a new home on the radio dial! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, requests or feedback that you may have.
