In the process, we visit the 1970’s Funk & Psychedelic scene of the USA, Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Cuba, Panama, Belize, Colombia, Peru, Cambodia, & even Estonia…

This program presents music from Paraguay and Marimba music, as well as songs interpreted by Concha Buika and Chavela Vargas. It also includes a few “Romanzas” and music by Astor Piazzolla. The literature segment presents “Un cuento de navidad” by the Mexican playwright Emilio Carvallido.
