Featuring new music from Cape Verde, Angola, and Brazil. Final song by Bob Marley is a farewell from Jojo and everyone at African Rhythms to beloved Twin Cities DJ Omari Omari, tragically killed in a motorcycle accident.

So many new releases, including: the Dub Club’s new “Bubble Dub” (on Stones Throw); Pale Rider’s cool new “CO7” EP; Longman’s excellent “Akhenaten’s Dream” album; the new “Two Sacred Swords” 12” from Alpha Steppa & Lutan Fyah; Makiko’s rootical “High Stepper” single (on 176Sound); Gaudi’s adventurous “In Between Times” (on Six Degrees); and Mystica Tribe’s sublime “Stars Are Mine” EP (on SD Records). On top of that was more new stuff from Taj Weekes & Odawa, Obidaya/Dubmatix, Almighty Sion, Black Saturn, Bentesoi, Mahala Rai Banda/Mad Professor, Violeta Vil, Claudia Aru, Bandulu Dub, David Powell, Twile, The RBC, A Tribe Called Red, and Grant Phahao presents The Jays.
