MINNEAPOLIS, MN, (March 13th, 2020) – Come see live music happening at Moon Palace Books on Friday, March 13th at 9pm. The night will feature through composed music, experimental soundscapes and improvisations. $10 admission, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. House on Fire Band
House on Fire is a collection of songs written by Chris Hepola.
The music has grounded melodic and harmonic roots with specific rhythmic and polyrhythmic layers. The many voices function together to create a cohesive sound. The group does not have a strong emphasis on genre, though you can spot influences in the music. Each song has its own path of development. The ensemble is Brad Holden on alto, Riley helgeson on trumpet, Ben Link on trombone, Anthony afful on bassoon, Mike Wolter on guitar, Eric Struve on bass Jenna Wyse vocals and Chris Hepola on drums. www.houseonfireband.com
Dameun Strange and the Temple of NU
Temple of the Nu is an electro-acoustic new music/jazz ensemble convened by multi-instrumentalist and composer Dameun Strange to explore the mystic sounds of the universe via original improvised acoustic and electronic music. ToTN features Queen Drea, voice, effects, tongue drum.

Crystal Myslajek + John Marks – Crystal Myslajek is a multi-instrumentalist, who blends looping, ethereal vocals, and effects with minimalism, classical piano, and pop. She collaborates across disciplines including experimental film, performance art, theater, and dance.
