KFAI 2020 Black History Month – Call for Participants and Abstracts

KFAI has a tradition of observing Black History Month in February. Our goal, with your help, is to present 24 hours of programming by KFAI hosts and self-identified members of the Twin Cities black community.

If you are interested in participating, you can choose to be involved in a number of ways.

1. Join the planning committee as a self-identified member of the Black community and work closely with staff to determine programming for BHM
2. Create a program that adds to the celebration
3. Co-host with a current KFAI program host (pending program host participation) and contribute content for a program.

Interested hosts can apply to be on-air or online by completing the attached form. Shows can be presented live or recorded in advance. No previous radio experience necessary – we will provide equipment, training and mentorship as needed.
