After curating the observances in 2020 and 2021, Yonci is excited to continue the tradition of honoring Black History Month on KFAI in 2023 with programming focused on the presence and futures of Black folks in the Twin Cities, right now. Black history is made everyday; This year’s observance honors the wealth of Black culture, artistry and knowledge both past and present, featuring selected re-runs of past Black History month programs, KFAI’s current Black hosts, and fresh content from community members.
