KFAI’s Wellness Signal: Mask Requirement Remains at St. Paul Public Schools

*** St. Paul Public Schools must continue to oblige a mask requirement. KFAI’s Ryan Dawes reports. Listen here:
KFAI – Fresh Air Community Radio · Mask Requirement Remains at St. Paul Pubic Schools
Parents, teachers and students addressed SPPS board members Tuesday night during public comment regarding the school’s existing mask mandate. At the meeting, Superintendent Dr. Joe Gothard recommended to the board that they pass a resolution ending the mask requirement. That resolution was voted down 3-2, with two board members absent. The vote comes just over 3 weeks since the CDC updated its masking guidelines to reflect local COVID-19 community levels. Like the rest of the counties in the Twin Cities metro, as of the night of the school board vote, the Ramsey County community level was labeled “low” by the CDC. With that low label, the CDC’s prevention steps only include completing COVID-19 vaccination and advises testing if symptoms are present, noting that masking is optional at this level. [VIETNAMESE] Các trường hợp vượt khả năng miễn dịch của thuốc chủng ngừa là gì? (What Are Breakthrough Cases?)

(What Are Breakthrough Cases?)
