Jazz is an evolving language with deep roots and sprawling branches. Representing each root and branch is a unique culture that amalgamated with the whole of it. Jazz Diaspora is reflection on this family tree loosely called Jazz.

Not Sorry for the Inconvenience, we are changing the world.

LatinoAltROCK! is an American Experience in the form of a Radio Show.

Liquid Soul Experience LSEX

Liquid Soul Experience (L-S-E-X/LSEX) is a cornucopia of funky intergalactic rhythmic, global and eclectic sounds. Liquid Soul is that flow and fusion of rhythm, roots, reggae, dub, House, Afro-beat, Soul and jazz from a DJing perspective. LSEX features music of a culturally conscious blend.

There ought to be a place on the radio for surprises. The Listening Lounge tries to be that delightful, and sometimes disturbing, place. When we air newsy documentaries, you won't hear experts droning on. You'll hear vibrant stories about real people. And when we air shorter audio experiences, we get out of the way and let sound tell the story.

A magazine show with music, guests and news from and about the Irish and Celtic communities in the Twin Cities and beyond. Our guests include musicians, writers, and  local and international personalities. We occasionally (some say "often") lapse into pure malarkey (exaggerated, meaningless or foolish talk, usually intended to deceive or poke fun).

  • With host David O'Sullivan

  • Wednesdays: 8:00am - 10:00am

MinneCulture arts, culture and history stories air on KFAI's "Listening Lounge" and at other times. We also record and produce concerts featuring local musicians in our "Live from Minnesota" series. Funding made possible by a grant from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
