In celebration of International Women’s Day & National Women’s History Month, we presented the annual “Beautiful Sounds of Women…Around the World” special. This year’s special included these women singers, players, and producers: Hollie Cook, PJ Higgins, Sade, Marcia Griffiths, Doreen Shaffer, Judy Mowatt, Camila Monasterio, SXtheMadArtist, O. de Lanzac, Jazzmin Tutum, Kiran Nathaniel, Sista Raphalle, The Angel, Natacha Atlas, Hirie, Ammoye, Soom T, Likkle Mai, Etana, Jah9, Sara Lugo, Ari Up, Diana Ross, Suphala, Jen Gloekner, Chyna Nicole , Althea Hamilton, Nubiya Brandon, CeU, Subhi, Annie Whitehead, Ranking Ann, Lily Allen, Abya Yala, Mimi Maura, Pauline Black, Karen Fleitas, Princesa, Las Kellies, and Mira Calix.

After the half, d.j. babyswiss continued our International Women’s Dub festivities, opening actually with some Ska: UK’s The Meow Meows’ song “Friends On Benefits”, released on Chicago’s Jump Up label. Fellow Brits Hollie Cook, Andrea Parker, Poly Styrene and The Slits also turn up. Mr. Swiss also celebrated the first Pi Day that the Echo Chamber has fallen on since the year the world ended ( …NOT!), 2012.

The Doc is away, and Swiss gets to play!
