We speak with Taylor Brorby and Antonia Felix about the new book Fracture: essays, poems, and stories on fracking in America. Taylor Brorby is an award-winning essayist and poet, and edited the collection along with Stefanie Brook Trout. He also contributed an essay. Antonia Felix is the bestselling author of many books, including biographies of Sonia Sotomayor, Laura Bush, Harry Connick Jr. and Andrea Bocelli.

We speak with Cheri Register about her new book The Big Marsh: The Story of a Lost Landscape. She has authored many books, including Beyond Good Intentions: A Mother Reflects On Raising Internationally Adopted Children, and Packinghouse Daughter: A Memoir – and she teaches women’s studies at the University of Minnesota.

We speak with Mike Hazard about We Come from the Flower, his solo show at the Minnesota Museum of American Art. It tells the story of a year in the life of the Hmong American Farmers Association through a book, photographs and a video.

We speak with Marge Barrett about her new memoir Called: The Making and Unmaking of a Nun. She is also the author of the poetry chapbook The Memoir Dress and has published poetry and prose in numerous journals. She has taught at the Loft Literary Center and the Jewish Community Center, among other places.
