This week Congressman Ellison explains why he voted in favor of the March 2008 deadline for the withdrawal of U.S. troops serving in Iraq. Ellison also gives an update on budgets submitted to Congress, and the local predatory lending bill. Friday, Ellsion traveled along with U.S. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi on a delegation trip to the Middle East. The delegation is expected to travel to Isreal, Syria, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. Next week, Ellison will share some highlights from this trip.

Ellison's legislative updates air weekly on the KFAI Evening News. This update aired Monday, April 2, 2007.
