Please read this Agreement carefully before using the KFAI MP3 Player (the "Giving System"). This is a binding agreement (the "Agreement") between you or the entity that is using this software to listen to KFAI’s mp3 live stream ("you") and KFAI, Fresh Air Inc.("KFAI"). By using this MP3 Player, you hereby ACCEPT AND AGREE TO REFRAIN FROM DOWNLOADING ALL OR PARTS of the associated programming contained within this portion of MP3 live stream to which you will be linked after agreeing to and accepting the Agreement.

Pam Without Boundaries, hosted by Pam, features an eclectic blend of singer-songwriters, rock bands, world music, and electronic beats alongside exclusive features such as:

  • 10am highlights of this week's new releases: you'll go to the record store in-the-know for what's coming out Tuesday!
  • 10:30am it's the Roe Family Radio Roundup: a little review of classic traditionals and new originals in a timely way by your friends, the Roe Family Singers, from the comforts of Studio 5.
  • 11am we're often joined by local, national or international musicians for music and some chat.
  • 11:30am weekday concert calendar, because, face it, some weeks, you need live music to get you through it.

New music this morning from Mountain Man, a female trio out of Vermont from which you will hear a lot, I am sure. Also new local music from Poor Weather Club, and a Caribbean-Americana hybrid from Big Head Todd & the Monsters, "Rocksteady," the title track to their new album.

7/12/2010 Pam Without Boundaries

This morning we enjoyed a visit from Nigel Egg, dressed in pink and gold and bubbling with music. While he is likely truthful when he tells us you can't sing the blues with an English accent, he proves you can still have a lot of fun, and make some subtle points about life, too. His CD release party was the following Friday, and you can catch him every Sunday, 2-5pm, at Dusty's in NE. Check the playlist for the rest of the mix.

Thanks to Dale from the now-retired Good Noise show, and David from Rockin' in Rhythm, for making this last show in the Tuesday 6-9am timeslot a memorable one. We marked the morning with songs about moving, mixed in to the usual morning music blend. Thanks to everyone who got up early with me all those years!
