Tommorrow, August 1, KFAI will be commemorating the one-year anniversary of the I-35W Bridge Collapse in a special news broadcast. The program will air on KFAI at 6 PM with regular broadcasting of Counterspin at 6:30 PM and Latino USA at 7 PM.
The broadcast will feature a montage of last year's KFAI news coverage, a live account of the bridge collapse from KFAI's Ramon Hugh, and an interview with University of Minnesota Pat Nunnally about a college class that was started and inspired by the tragic event.
There will also be a moment of silence at 6:05 PM in honor of those who died.
Coverage continues on Monday during the KFAI Evening News with reporter Allison Herrera's coverage of the bridge collapse memorial events around the area.
It all starts tomorrow at 6 PM on KFAI, Radio Without Boundaries.
