Story By Ian Yue

On July 1, 2008, the Coalition to March on the RNC and Stop the War held a rally and a march at the State Capital. This was the fourth march in a series of recurring demonstrations to pressure the City of St. Paul to grant a permit for an anti-war march on September 1, 2008, the first day of the Republican National Convention. The Coalition’s strategy was to schedule rallies and marches in St. Paul on the first of every month, culminating with the RNC march. Coalition member Katrina Plotz recapped the event and the Coalition’s next steps to the KFAI news team in a live phone interview.

This live interview was aired on Wednesday, July 2, 2008
