By using this MP3 Player, you hereby ACCEPT AND AGREE TO REFRAIN FROM DOWNLOADING ALL OR PARTS of the associated programming contained within this portion of MP3 live stream to which you will be linked after agreeing to and accepting the Agreement.

Immigration rights activists vocalize cause to Emmer

Immigrants rights supporters followed Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer to a fundraiser in Columbia Heights on Wednesday, June 16. About 40 people gathered in front of Historic Heights Bed and Breakfast to draw attention to Emmer's support of Arizona's anti-immigration legislation, also known as SB 1070. Minneapolis DFL endorses candidates for school board

On Saturday, the Minneapolis DFL party endorsed the first Somali American to elected office. Hussein Samatar, a small business owner, was endorsed for Minneapolis School Board District 3. Alberto Montserrate, publisher of LaPrensa, was endorsed for the District 5 seat. The most contested district school board seat resulted in Jenny Arneson winning the District 1 endorsement over Marcia Thomas. more >>
