KFAI's Sangam to Talk Tech

When he was just five years old, Massoud Amin saw how electricity transformed the lives of poor villagers in Iran, and that’s when he decided he wanted to become an engineer.

He is now Professor Massoud Amin of the Technological Leadership Institute at the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Amin has been called "The Father of the Smart Grid" and is considered a world leader when it comes to thinking about the future of energy.  He is the author or co-author of more than 190 research papers and the editor of seven collections of manuscripts, and serves on the editorial boards of six academic journals.

At Washington University, students voted him Professor of the Year three times.

This coming Monday night, from 8 to 10 pm, KFAI's Sangam program will feature Professor Massoud Amin in a panel discussion (interspersed with music) about Technology Management, covering some key points:

Why Technology Management is critical.

Its impact in today's world.

How to participate in Technology Management.

Dr. Amin was recently chosen to give the keynote speech at the Energy Thought Summit in Austin Texas - a gathering of the world's thought leaders regarding the state and the future of energy.

Join SANGAM hosts Mukhtar Thakur and Ahmed Naumann with distinguished University of Minnesota Professor Massoud Amin this Monday night from 8 to 10 pm, online at KFAI.org and in the Twin Cities at 90.3 FM and 106.7 FM.
