Policy Leaders Connect Arts, Vibrancy

One of the nation’s largest gatherings of literary artists took place last weekend in Minneapolis, and the event drew some high ranking art officials.  

KFAI’s Brenda Bell Brown talked with Jane Chu, the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts.  She and Minnesota State Arts Board Executive Director Sue Gens were at Open Book in Minneapolis when they talked about the importance of the arts in creating liveable communities and contributing to economic development.
