International Women's Day Programming: It's Happening All Day Monday, March 9!

KFAI's annual 24 hours of International Women's Day programming provides a unique opportunity for women’s and girls’ voices and issues to be heard on the airwaves. All of the shows broadcast on Monday, March 9 are produced and hosted by women and girls from the Twin Cities. KFAI has been celebrating International Women’s Day since 1989! Check out the schedule, featuring 27 programs hosted by 40+ Twin Cities women and girls, right here. There will be a lot to take in, and to enable you to enjoy all 24 hours of programming all shows will be archived for later, on-demand listening. 

International Women’s Day is a holiday recognized by the United Nations and is celebrated throughout the world on March 8. IWD encourages advocacy for women's advancement everywhere in every way and for challenging the status quo for women's equality and vigilance inspiring positive change.
