"Black Lives Matter" plans protest at M.O.A.

Organizers of a planned Saturday protest at the Mall of America -- part of the national Black Lives Matter movement -- say they were visited by a courier acting on behalf of mall management last Friday, and again by City of Bloomington Police on Tuesday, in an attempt to stop their event from happening. The three individuals targeted in the letter were not home at the time of the attempt to contact them, but officers questioned family members and roommates about the organizers whereabouts and asked if they planned on attending the event. One of the leaders of this group, Mica Grimm, spoke with KFAI's Rico Morales on The Morning Blend.
