Midterm Raises Questions About Political Engagement

Election Day 2014 was sleepier than most. The election issued in a Republican majority in the House of Representatives and in the Senate, but national voter turnout and overall political engagement among voters was notably low.

KFAI’s Julie Censullo explores some of the reasons behind this dip in political involvement in Minnesota and across the country. She spoke with Hamline University professor David Schultz and FairVote Minnesota exectutive director Jeanne Massey about ways to increase political engagement.
