Exploring The Role of The Queer Tribal Elder with Steven Solberg on Fresh Fruit

Join Dixie Treichel & John Townsend on Fresh Fruit on Thursday, January 15th from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm as we talk with Steven Solberg about his film in progress Standing On The Bones of Our Ancestors: Exploring The Role of The Queer Tribal Elder.

Standing on the Bones of Our Ancestors is intended for GLBTQ People of all ages in the interest of honoring those who have come before us, promoting critical thinking and generating intergenerational dialogue around issues of spirituality and ageing to advance social change for a more physically healthy, politically aware, creatively alive, and spiritually awake Queer Community. It is also aimed at non GLBTQ People in the interest of challenging hetero-centric beliefs about what it means to be a member of our disenfranchised population.

Steven will present a 21-Minute Preview of his feature length documentary in progress at Spirit in the House at Patrick's Cabaret
January 16th and 17th at 8:00 pm
