Marisha Chamberlain joins us to talk about her first novel, The Rose Variations. In addition to being a novelist, Marisha Chamberlain is a playwright, poet and librettist. Her plays have been staged all over the world: in South Africa, Germany, Australia, Turkey, Britain and Canada as well as in the United States.

In the second half of the show, we talk with Nicole Helget, whose newest book is The Turtle Catcher. Nicole Helget is also the author of the memoir The Summer of Ordinary Ways.
