Today we listened to music from Rajastan (Saydisc), Sung poetry of the Bedouins of the Arabian Peninsula (Gallo), one of Afghanistan’s great singers, Mahwash with Radio Kabul (Accords Croises), music from Laos (Rounder), Corsican chant with Tavagna (Silex), Flamenco legend, El Lebrijano (Al Compas), Iraqi Ud giant, Munir Bashir (Inedit), Prehispanic Mexican music(Paramusica), Mama Sana from Madagascar (Shanachie), music from central France (Auvidis), and music from the Bosnians living in Austria (RST Records).

In the second hour we listen to an interview with Irish Guitarist, Daithi Sproule. He is known for his work with Altan, Skara Brae, Bowhand, Trian, Fingal and as one of the most sought after accompanists in Irish music. We heard live tracks as well as music from Skara Brae (Gael Linn), and Trian (Green Linnet).
