today we had special guests, Colleen Bertsch, who talked about her film about traditional musicians in Transylvania. We also talked with Amirhossein Kiani, about the Dastan Ensemble, one of Iran’s premier traditional music ensembles.
In a bit of a departure, we featured exclusively country music from the ’70s and ’80s. It was also a real treat for me to be joined in studio by my mom Colleen, also brother Craig and his wife Sue-both visiting from Florida. We had a blast!
What a nice way to start the day…
