On ouir countdown of the best soul/rb albums of the seventies, we reviewed the #48 selection, as ranked by Mojo Magazine, Miss Sara Brother Tad: 24-Carat Black, Esther Phillips and Millie Jackson, respectively.
Thanks to Ray Barnard for stopping in today. We played tracks from his new CD: Ray Barnard & The Reverberation “Tinted Windows of the Soul”. They’re having a CD release party Saturday at Lee’s Liquor Lounge.
Other new music included an advance copy of Wanda Jackson’s latest, Hot Club of Cowtown, Jonathan Byrd, and The Boys N’ the Barrels.
