The first ½ hour of today’s program consists of Andean music with two major interpreters: Ernesto Cavour and Raymond Thevenot. The second ½ hour presents some Portuguese Fados and a couple of examples of music from Al-Andalus and the Sephardic tradition. The last ½ hour includes music from Mexico and the last 15 minutes present a text by the Mexican writer Vicente Leñero read by Leñero himself.
