The literature segment presents segments from the conferences by Margo Glantz on Nellie Campobello’s writings about “la Revolución Mexicana”.

Joni Haastrup’s take on psychedelic Afro-rock with his Nigerian band Monomono (and later as a solo artist) is the focus of three stellar new reissues from Soundway/Tummy Touch. On today’s African Rhythms we heard a couple of tracks from those records, along with new music from Congo courtesy of Damon Albarn’s new DNC Music project pairing Western producers with contemporary Congolese musicians.
