World Music

This week Kelly Kinnunen, Executive Director of Need Magazine:http://www.needmagazine.com, joined us in the 8:00hour to talk about Street Music for Street Kids, a concert at Peavey Plaza to raise awareness about the children who play music for money on the streets of Jakarta. Many local artists got together for the cause, and Kinnunen believes the event could be the first of many future events where we express locally our global humanity. We also heard new music this morning from Dirty Projectors, Young Fresh Fellows and Fort Knox Five.
