Sue McLean died of cancer in May 2013. In addition to being the largest independent female concert promoter in the world, Sue was a big supporter of KFAI.
Sue McLean served the Twin Cities’ local music scene for almost 40 years. She booked events for the Basilica Block Party, Music in the Zoo music series, O’Shaughnessy’s Women of Substance Series, and many other clubs and theaters in the Twin Cities. She was a friend and mentor and is remembered for her generous spirit.
KFAI is proud to be one of the media sponsors of the “Tribute to Sue McLean”, Saturday November 23rd at First Avenue.
