G.U.T. Feeling Vol. 4: Radionics featuring photographer Eric William Carroll

Date:
Thursday, February 25, 2016 - 6:30pm

The Bakken Museum and Coffee House Press present the inaugural Evening at The Bakken event on Thursday, February 25 starting at 6:30 PM. The event will feature G.U.T. Feeling Vol. 4: Radionics, an exhibition by photographer Eric William Carroll. Radionics is the culmination of Carroll’s residency in the Bakken Museum's library and archives during summer 2015. A visiting professor of art at Macalester College, he will present a series of magical portraits of children experiencing static electricity alongside stunning photographs of radionics equipment from the Bakken's object archive. Oscillating between the scientific and psychedelic, Carroll's photographs blur the line between scientific explanations and intuitive understanding.
