Concert to End Homelessness

Date:
Thursday, June 25, 2015 - 5:30pm

On Thursday, June 25th, world-renowned hymnal and liturgical composers David Haas (Blest are They), Marty Haugen (All are Welcome), and Father J. Michael Joncas (On Eagle’s Wings) will perform at the Concert to End Homelessness at 7:00pm at St. John Neumann Church in Eagan. They will be performing a selection of their collected works that fill hymnals all over the world. The concert will benefit the programs of St. Stephen’s Human Services, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit, serves men, women, and children experiencing homelessness, providing shelter, emergency services and housing.

Doors will open on June 25th at 5:30pm with a Homeless Product Fair, where concertgoers will be able to purchase basic necessities for people experiencing homelessness, including bus passes, birth certificates, and rental deposits. The concert will begin at 7:00pm. Following the concert, there will be a special “Meet the Musicians” event, where donors giving $1,000 or more will join the artists for an intimate backstage celebration.
