This week, the Voice whispered in your friendly neighborhood Midnight Rider's ear... it's space month... IT'S SPACE MONTH!!! This year, Jupiter and the visiting Juno space probe will be making most of the headlines (barring official confirmation by NASA of abandoned cities on Pluto, or of an actual megastructure built by Tabby around her Star) so we saluted the Great Red-Spotted Planet with a little help from Perrey/Kingsley and Earth, Wind & Fire, before the newly-late Bernie Worrell took us to Events In The Elsewhere and Sir Nose learned the Aqua Boogie. We miss ya already, B.W. We also boarded Tom Scott's Rock Island Rocket (destination: The B-52s' Planet Claire), ran headlong into some Invaders under the direction of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, who hopefully will decide to invade the Twin Cities someday, and found out how far Barbara Gaskin's dreams can go. As for the rest: the playlist is posted, the audio archive is up for 2 weeks, and you really DO want to hear Nina Hagen's take on Flying Saucers... happy Space Month!!
